Food Re - heating Instructions
Chef's Notes - All Chef63 meals can be re-heated from frozen using a combination of the boil-in-the-bag method & or in the microwave.
But for best results…
Pour about 2 litres of water into a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
Place the unopened pouch(es) of sauce into the water and set your timer for 10 mins.
If you have room, you can simply add your unopened vegetable pouches to the same pot for 3-5 mins (depending on how al-dente you like your veg) before the end of the initial 10 mins or pop them into a separate saucepan of boiling water if you prefer.
At the same time, cut the corner of the Rice pouch to allow the steam to escape, then microwave at 800w for just 3 mins. If you add more than one pouch, adjust the time accordingly.
After 10 mins, turn off the heat and allow the sauces and veg to stay warm in the water whilst you plate-up the rice, then add the veg, and finally pour over the delicious sauce.
A freshly cooked, complete, balanced meal from Freezer to Fork in under 15 mins!
Chef's Notes - As the vegetables steam in their own juices, they will release liquid as the plant cell walls break down. This is completely natural. - any excess liquid can be poured/sieved away, before plating-up.
Enjoy! 😊
